| Although numerology has been around for millennium, its true origins |
| remain a mystery. Thousands of years ago, early civilisations in Egypt and |
| Babylon both recognized the power of numbers. It‘s quite possible that |
| numerology has been in existence since the human race learned to count. |
| Numerology is the study of numbers as it relates to aptitudes and |
| character tendencies. Each letter of the alphabet has a numeric value or |
| frequency that relates to it‘s vibration. The sum of the numbers in your |
| birth date and the sum of the value derived from the letters in your name, |
| provide a road map of vibrations. |
| Numerology expresses a great deal about a person‘s character, purpose in |
| life, motivations, career, romantic characteristics, luck and talents. |
| Numerology experts use the numbers to determine the best time for |
| major activities in one‘s life. Numerology has been used for investment |
| forecasting, marriage counselling, travel advice, career consulting, and |
| even relocation advice. |
| Pythagoras of Samos, the Greek mathematician and philosopher, (569- |
| 470 B.C.), is believed to be the developer of today‘s numerology system. |
| The actual origins of numerology predate Pythagoras and are believed to |
| have originated from the Chaldean system. The Chaldean system had its |
| roots in ancient Babylon, which had its roots in the Vedic systems of India |
| and the Kabbalah systems of the ancient Hebrew mystics. Whoever or |
